Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra is scheduled to travel to Berlin, Federal Republic of Germany during March 3-8, 2025. Government Spokesperson Jirayu Houngsub disclosed gist of her schedule as follows:
The Prime Minister will depart from Suvarnabhumi Airport at 1310hrs for Berlin via Zurich.
She will meet with Team Thailand in the European Union, as well as Minister of Tourism and Sports and the Thai Ambassador to Germany, to follow up on policy implementations in all relevant aspects. She will also attend “ITB Berlin 2025”, the world’s largest travel trade show, first held in 1965. This will be its 58th and Thailand has taken part in the fair for 50 years now. Representing Thailand is 160 tourism business operators and entrepreneurs from 5 regions across the country who will contribute to promoting a good image of Thai tourism. The Thai Pavilion this year focuses on new perspectives of Thai products and services, and promotes international recognition of Thai tourism image through the brand “Amazing Thailand”. The year 2025 has been announced as “Amazing Thailand Grand Tourism & Sports Year 2025” under the theme “Sustainable Thailand Soft Power”. The Thai Pavilion will be divided into 5 zones: 1) business negotiation area; 2) partner agencies; 3) Soft Power area; 4) Tourism Cities; and 5) Sports Tourism.
Additionally, business negotiations will be arranged between Thai tourism business operators and foreign counterparts, as well as a press conference. ITB Berlin 2025 will be held from March 4-6, 2025, at Berlin ExpoCenter City, Berlin, Federal Republic of Germany.
