April 30, 2026, Government Spokesperson Rachada Dhnadirek disclosed that the Government has received a royal consent to host the Grand Reception in honor of His Majesty the King on occasion of the Coronation Day. The event will be held on May 4, 2026 at 1900hrs at the Santi Maitri Building, Government House, and will be presided over by Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anutin Charnvirakul.

On this occasion, the Government has invited presidents of constitutional organizations, the Privy Councilors, former Prime Ministers, cabinet members, members of the diplomatic corps, consuls and heads of international organizations, political officials, military officials, police officials, civil servants, members of the House of Representatives, members of the Senate, heads of government agencies at the ministry level or equivalent under the Office of the Prime Minister, president of the Thai Chamber of Commerce, president of the Federation of Thai Industries, president of the Thai Bankers’ Association, president of the Tourism Council of Thailand, and president of the Foreign Correspondents’ Club of Thailand, among others.

The Grand Reception or Samosorn San Nibat on occasion of the Coronation Day, May 4, 2026, will be broadcast live via the Television Pool of Thailand, the National Broadcasting Services of Thailand, and Public Relations Department, starting from 1850hrs onwards. The Government invites all the Thai people to join together in paying tribute and offering felicitations to His Majesty the King on this occasion.
