March 20, 2026, at 1330hrs, at the headquarters of Bhumjaithai Party, Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul attended a ceremony to receive the Royal Command on Appointment of the Prime Minister. Secretary-General of the House of Representatives Siroj Phaetphan delivered and officially announced the Royal Command as follows:

Phra Bat Somdet Phra Poramenthra Ramathibodi Sisin Maha Vajiralongkorn Phra Vajira Klao Chao Yu Hua has graciously given a Royal Command for the announcement to be made that following the House of Representatives’ resolution on 19th March B.E. 2569 (2026) approving the appointment of Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul as Prime Minister with a majority of votes from the total number of existing members of the House of Representatives, on the authority of Section 158 of the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand, His Majesty therefore graciously appoints Mr. Anutin Charnvirakul as Prime Minister to administer state affairs forthwith.

The newly appointed Prime Minister Anutin Charnvirakul expressed his humble gratitude for His Majesty the King’s endorsement to appoint him as Prime Minister, and stated that it was the utmost honor of his life and entire family. He pledged to perform the duty to the best of his ability with honesty, integrity, and in good faith for the interest of the people and country, and in accordance with His Majesty’s royal aspirations and the Constitution of the Kingdom of Thailand.
