Following the meeting, the Government Spokesperson revealed gist of the meeting that IPAC agreed on the annual administrative plan for 76 provinces and 18 integrated provinces, and requests of budget allocation for the fiscal year 2014 as proposed by IPAC sub-committee on planning and budgeting as follows:
1) Projects to be endorsed under the budget allocation for 18 integrated provinces: 300 projects under the total amount of 8,794,466,857 Baht
2) Projects to be endorsed under the budget allocation for 76 provinces: 2,293 projects under the total budget of 22,392,730,173 Baht
All the approved projects are in line with provincial/integrated provincial development strategies. However, with the budgeting limitation, not all projects will be allocated. Only after the determination of unit cost for allocated projects and still a budget balance when non-allocated projects be reconsidered (based on each project’s priority), or after the reallocation of the budget.
IPAC would later forward the approved annual administrative plan for 76 provinces and 18 integrated provinces, and requests of budget allocation for FY 2014 to the Cabinet for its consideration at the Cabinet retreat meeting in Chachoengsao province on March 31, 2013
In addition, IPAC acknowledged the decisions made by IPAC sub-committee on planning and budgeting in its 3/2013 meeting on March 20, 2013, as well as the reallocation of budget and the use of balance of provincial/integrated provincial budget that has no effect on the annual administrative plan for 76 provinces and 18 integrated provinces for FY 2012 and 2013.
