PM attends dinner reception at the Government House of New Zealand

March 22, 2013, at the Langham Hotel, Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra attended a cocktail reception together with the Thai private sector before leaving for the Government House of New Zealand where a dinner reception, hosted by the Prime Minister of New Zealand, was held in honor of PM Yingluck’s state visit to the country. PM Yingluck thanked the Prime Minister of New Zealand and was pleased with the cordial relations between the two countries.

PM Yingluck thanked the Prime Minister of New Zealand for his warm welcome and was pleased to meet with him again after a discussion meeting in Seoul last year. According to PM Yingluck, Thailand and New Zealand are natural alliances with not only the same core values such as democracy, human rights, and the Rule of Law, but also their mutual supports in the fields of economy and others, and their people-to-people relations through educational, and tourism connections. These are the foundations for further reinforcement of mutual relations in the future.

She was also pleased with the bilateral discussion with the New Zealand Premier earlier in the afternoon with favorable results on the issues of mutual interests both in the bilateral, regional, and multi-lateral levels. On behalf of the Thai Government and the people, PM Yingluck thanked the Prime Minister of New Zealand once again and hoped to receive the New Zealand Premier on his visit to Thailand in the near future.
