PM granted an audience with His Majesty Carl XVI Gustaf, King of Sweden, and Queen Silvia

On March 4, 2013, Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra had an audience with His Majesty Carl XVI Gustaf, King of Sweden, and Her Majesty Queen Silvia at the Stockholm Palace, Kingdom of Sweden.

 

PM and delegation arrive in Stockholm, the first leg of her state visit to Europe

 

Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra and the delegation arrived in Stockholm, Kingdom of Sweden which is the first destination of her state visit to Europe during March 4-7, 2013.

 

PM emphasizes on protection of wildlife, endangered species, and Thai elephants

Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra presided over and gave an opening speech at the 16th meeting of the Conference of the Parties to CITES (Convention on International Trade in Endangered Species of Wild Fauna and Flora), and emphasized on protection of wildlife, endangered species, and Thai elephants, and ban on illegal trade of ivory.

PM thanks cabinet for their energy saving campaign, reports on South Korea and Hong Kong’s trips

Prime Minister thanked members of the cabinet for their energy savings campaign and called on long-term plans and measures for proper electricity consumption.

PM to attend the 5th Thai-Malaysian Annual Consultation

Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra, Deputy Prime Minister, and key Ministers, are scheduled to travel to Putra Jaya, Federation of Malaysia to attend Thai-Malaysian Annual Consultation on February 28, 2013.

PM attends inauguration ceremony of the President of South Korea and has a bilateral meeting with the new President

February 25, 2013, at 1000hrs, Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra arrived at the National Assembly to attend the presidential inauguration ceremony of Madame Park Geun-hye, the new and first female President of the Republic of Korea. Invitationfor the Thai Prime Minister to attend her presidential inauguration ceremony as a special guest reflects strong ties between the two countries.

PM meets with President Lee Myung-bak to thank for his contribution to Thai-Korean relations and bid farewell

 

The Prime Minister and the delegation arrived in Seoul, Republic of Korea to attend the presidential inauguration ceremony.

 

Integrated Provincial Administrative Committee (IPAC) agrees on a 4-year integrated provincial development plan (2014-2017)

Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra presided over the Integrated Provincial Administrative Committee (IPAC) meeting (2nd/2013) to approve in principle a 4-year integrated provincial development plan (2014-2017) for 76 provinces and 18 integrated provinces which will later be forwarded to the Cabinet for its consideration.

PM to visit South Korea and Hong Kong SAR

Prime Minister Yingluck Shinawatra is scheduled to visit Republic of Korea and Hong Kong SAR during February 24-26, 2013. PM is invited by President-Elect Park Geun-hye to attend her presidential inauguration ceremony. After South Korea, she will travel to Hong Kong SAR as invited by Hong Kong’s Chief Executive Leung Chun-ying.
